Maneuvers to help avoid groin injury.

Two good stretching maneuvers for people trying to avoid pubic injury, or after Pubalgia surgery when recommended by the surgeon, are shown. The first is to stretch the anterior attachments to the pubis in a gentle and controlled fashion. The stretch requires a rolling stool, and a very stable structure to rest the elbows and forearms. The counter stretch is for the hamstrings. Once again, adequate stabilization is important. Controlled stretching is used to lengthen the muscles and tendons, and decrease the vectors pulling on the pubis.
